/ˌhīməˈnäptərə/ /ˈsentə(r)d/ /dəˈzīn/

noun

Hymenoptera-Centred Design is a branch of Animalian-Centered Design. Similar to the more popular acronym-homonym Human-Centered Design which has managed to enter ISO 9241-210:2019 without observing Occam’s razor principle, the Hymenoptera-Centered Design is defined as follow:

“Approach to systems design and development that aims to make interactive systems more usable by focusing on the use of the system and applying Hymenopteran factors/ergonomics and usability knowledge and techniques.”

Left: Gecko-Centred (wrong!) vs Right: Hymenoptera-Centred Design
